I will take you through the typical countryside north of Amsterdam, in the province of Noord-Holland.

Tour Highlights:

1. Zaanse Schans – A Historic Village:
Our first stop is the famous Zaanse Schans, once the first industrial area in the world. Here, you will see charming historical wooden houses painted in the typical green color and visit the first supermarket in Holland, Albert Heijn.

2. Ferry to Texel – The Largest Island of Holland:
After exploring Zaandam, we will drive for an hour to board the ferry to Texel. The 20-minute ferry ride offers the chance to spot seals on the Waddenzee, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

3. Texel – Nature and Culture:
Upon arrival, you can choose between a walk in the scenic dunes or a visit to the quaint town of Den Burg. Another option is to explore Ecomare, a nature museum, seal and bird sanctuary, and sea aquarium. This experience in the National Park Dunes of Texel is perfect for both children and adults (admission fee: €16 per person).

4. Journey Back to Amsterdam:
From Texel, we will drive back to Amsterdam, a scenic 2-hour journey.
